Book Club

I’m hosting a book club!

And you’re invited. The Future is Disabled Book Club was lovingly created to support people through renegotiating their relationship with existing and new disabilities, access and accommodations, productivity, and rest as we continue to exist and attempt to survive a mass disabling event.

How does it work?

TFID Book Club is held on the 2nd Sunday of every month from 3-5 pm EST via Zoom. It is self-paced and self-directed. Participants get to choose what content they explore related to Disability Justice.

This safe(r) space is a lightly facilitated shared learning opportunity. Members tell stories, reflect on their experiences of ableism, and offer recommendations to help the group in their exploration of Disability Justice.

How do I sign up?

There are 3 ways to join us for TFID Book Club:

  1. Become a Patron (starting at $5 p/ mo.)
  2. Send love offerings to @TashmicaTorokLLC with TFID in the memo.
  3. Can’t afford to pay? Start a *FREE* membership on Patreon and come anyway!

All participants – including new Patrons – will be sent a Zoom link to register before attending their first book club.
