Proud to be co-facilitating a Community Circlekeeper Restorative Justice Training with my brilliant friend and colleague Lauren Fardig-Diop for the Metro Detroit Restorative Justice Network. School is back in full force but so am I. ✨ Tonight I spent a couple of hours in deep dialogue with college students about their civil rights, police disparities and how they might be impacted, and the relationship between the police, downtown businesses, and rich elder alumni. ✨First of all, I’m a delight.✨ The answer is no. Let’s talk Copaganda. Again. ✨Pouring myself a cup of ambition.✨ 70% of reports to CPS come from professionals. That means teachers, social workers, and medical workers are on the front lines of the work to end the Family Policing System. Look who I ran into after meeting with State Reps ➡️ Donavan McKinney for Congress!!! My was-band brought me these tomatoes. Kinda funny that I can trust my ex-husband not to poison my food more than the government. 🤷🏽‍♀️
